The Courage to Love

On a good day when things are going well, it is easy to have warm and friendly feelings towards others. But what about when things go badly or people don’t do what we want? If we learn how to cherish all living beings even in difficult situations, love itself will solve our problems. Pure love is very different from pleasing others or going along with their wishes, and when we have it in our heart our life is transformed.

This may sound like a tall order or even completely impossible, but Buddha’s wisdom teachings bring it within reach. Through practicing special methods in meditation, we can transform our current biased, limited love into a powerful universal love that truly solves our problems and heals the world.
