Buddhism and Body Image

Many of us experience pain and suffering related to our weight and appearance. It is so easy to feel we are not skinny enough, not athletic enough, or not attractive enough. Even if we know we are being irrational, it is hard not to compare ourselves to the idealized images we see every day, or to worry about how others see us. We can end up feeling inadequate, anxious, or even depressed.

Buddha’s methods are perfect for solving problems like these. We can use meditation to break toxic mental habits and replace them with healthy, beneficial attitudes. Gradually our suffering related to body image will decrease, allowing us to bring more positive energy to all areas of our lives. Come learn how to use Buddha’s wisdom methods to make a meaningful change inside!
