Meditation in Lambertville – Tuesday Evenings

Everyone welcome!
No experience necessary.

Each class begins with a guided meditation, followed by a talk on a certain topic, and ends with another guided meditation. These classes will utilize books such as How to Transform Your Life and Modern Buddhism by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, available as free ebooks.

Feb–Mar 2020: What to Do About Suffering

Drawn from the inspiring new book The Mirror of Dharma with Additions, these classes will explore essential insights from the classic poem “The Three Principal Aspects of the Path” by Je Tsongkhapa. Through practicing these special meditations we can recognize, reduce, and eventually completely overcome the causes of suffering in our own hearts and help others to do the same.

Teacher: Gen Kelsang Wangden is an American Buddhist monk and is the Resident Teacher of Menlha Buddhist Center in Lambertville, NJ. A longtime disciple of the internationally renowned Buddhist Teacher and meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Wangden is known for his kind heart, joyful nature, and practical advice. He enjoys helping students of all abilities and interests understand and apply Buddhist lessons and cultivate inner peace.
