Gen Kelsang Wangden, Resident teacher
Gen Kelsang Wangden is an American Buddhist monk and is the Resident Teacher of Menlha Buddhist Center in Lambertville, NJ. A longtime disciple of the internationally renowned Buddhist Teacher and meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Wangden is known for his kind heart, joyful nature, and practical advice. He enjoys helping students of all abilities and interests understand and apply Buddhist lessons and cultivate inner peace.
Matthew Stein is a senior student at Menlha Center who has been practicing Buddhism for a number of years. An experienced meditator, he has engaged in many meditation retreats. Matt presents these thoughtful teachings in a very practical and light-hearted manner.
Robin Kelly is a senior student at Menlha Center who has been studying and practicing Buddhism for many years. Rob enjoys helping students apply Buddhist methods to everyday problems, and is known for his inspiring and humorous presentation.
Ethel Rackin is a senior student at Menlha Center who has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years. Through her practical and warm-hearted manner, Ethel shares Buddha’s teachings in a joyful and engaging way. She is also a poet and professor of English.
Russell Chell has been a Kadampa Buddhist meditation practitioner for nearly 20 years and has taught meditation classes at both Menlha Center and Dharmachakra Buddhist Center, our sister Center in north Jersey. He is currently a member of the Teacher Training program at Dharmachakra Center. Russell teaches meditation in a friendly, practical, down to earth manner.
Adrienne Chell is a senior student at Dharmachakra Buddhist Center, our sister Center in north Jersey. She has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for nearly 20 years. An artist by trade, she is very skilled in presenting Buddha’s teachings.
