Summer 2008 General Class Schedule
Classes in the CommunityCheck Below for a Location Near YouMenlha Buddhist Center’s summer schedule will include classes on Guide to a Daily Practice: Meditations on the Stages of the Path. Classes are based on The New Meditation Handbook by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. This popular and practical best-selling manual allows us to discover for ourselves the inner peace and lightness of mind that come from meditation. Each class will explain one of the twenty-one step-by-step meditations leading to increasingly peaceful and beneficial states of mind, and that together form the entire Buddhist path to enlightenment. By practicing these meditations, we can transform our daily lives, fulfill our spiritual potential, and find lasting happiness. Each class includes guided meditation, a talk, discussion and questions. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome. Drop in to any class or attend the series. $10/class, $5 for students/seniors. (unless otherwise noted) Wear comfortable clothing; no need to bring anything.
