The Present Moment

Why is it so difficult to let go of our guilt, anger, or fear? We know that things change constantly, but in our hearts we believe we are the same person we were ten years ago, that those around us never change, and that our current problems will never end. These kinds of beliefs limit our ability to experience inner peace and joy, and they hamper our spiritual progress. Through the special Buddhist meditation called “subtle impermanence,” we can gain deep experience of constant change, which will dissolve these limiting beliefs and bring the present moment alive for us.
